I Can Be Soft, I Can Be Strong
On the journey of soul
growth,
We often learn to be “strong” —
To not cry, not fall apart, not trouble others.
We strive to be independent, capable, and always positive.
But have you noticed?
Sometimes we use “strength” to avoid vulnerability,
And “positivity” to bypass our real pain.
True healing doesn’t
lie in how much you can endure,
But in whether you dare to take off the mask of “I’m fine.”
Sometimes, allowing
yourself to cry
Is the deeper form of courage.
Sometimes, saying “I can’t hold it together”
Is the beginning of true connection with yourself.
Healing never asks you
to be perfect, positive, or flawless.
It welcomes your whole being:
The soft, the confused, the overwhelmed you —
Also worthy of love, also worthy of being seen.
Trust this:
You can be a vessel of light even when breaking,
You can birth true strength from within your softness.
May every time we fall
Become a moment of coming home to our truth.
