The Body Doesn’t Lie
We often ignore the
body. Especially in times of busyness, emotional suppression, and mental
exhaustion, we habitually “push through,” forcing ourselves to keep going—until
the body speaks through pain, fatigue, fever, insomnia, or hormonal imbalance.
There was a time I had
chest tightness and couldn’t sleep. Doctors found no cause. One night, I
finally paused and asked my body: “What are you trying to tell me?”
The answer was strikingly clear: “I’m exhausted.”
I wept uncontrollably. I realized I had been overpowering my emotions with
willpower, masking my inner cry for help with the idea that I had to be strong.
The body never lies.
It faithfully holds every swallowed feeling, every unspoken “no,” every time
you abandoned your own needs.
When we return to the
body—to feel it, trust it, and connect without judgment—we return to truth
in the present moment.
Healing is not instant, but built through small practices: deep breathing,
feeling your feet, slowing down, and listening to the pain—not just trying to
erase it.
The body is not
your enemy. It is the doorway to healing.
Every symptom is your soul knocking: “Please listen.”
