You Don't Need to
Prove Anything
Sometimes, we feel
lonely even among people —
not because we're alone,
but because we’re trying too hard to become something we think we should
be.
We try to be better.
More lovable.
More spiritual.
More wise.
More patient.
More forgiving…
But maybe all these
“more”s aren’t what we truly desire.
Maybe they are just silent attempts from a younger self saying:
“See? I’m worthy.”
“See? I’m good enough.”
“See? I wasn’t wrong.”
We wrap our wounds in
the cloth of spiritual effort.
We replace our exhaustion with quiet sacrifice.
And all the unspoken “I’m tired too” becomes a polite “It’s okay.”
But dearest soul —
You don’t need to prove anything anymore.
Your existence is
already complete.
Just as you are, you are enough.
The soul doesn’t shine
by being “better.”
It shines when you dare to be real.
If you’re tired, rest.
If you’re sad, hold yourself.
If you’re angry, admit — “I want to be understood too.”
The more you allow
yourself to exist as is,
the more love — the kind that never had to be earned — will quietly come close.
You are not a project.
Not a mission.
Not something to fix or improve.
You are light itself.
The shape of love in its truest form.
You were never missing anything.
That night, I dreamed I stood before a mirror. But in the reflection, I didn’t
see my face.
I saw light.
And when I reached out to touch it,
it whispered my name.
